HI! Welcome to the AES 5th grade blog. This is a place where I will share what's happening in 5th grade. This will include student work, extra practice and extra resources where you can go for additional help.
First things first, if you ever need to contact me, you can send an email to rkirks@henry.k12.va.us or call (276)650-1193, or you can fill out this Google Form which is a little more secure if you would like to make a suggestion or have a question.
This week we are starting MAP testing. This will take place November 16-18. The language usage test will be Monday, Math on Tuesday, and Reading on Wednesday. Please have your child at school no later than 8:00 am each day and talk with them the importance of doing their very best on the test.
